Hello to all, I am going to be leading a ride from Greenwater to Squaw Rock Resort this Saturday. Squaw Rock is a resort with a restaurant, and non-ethanol premium fuel for our sleds. It's about 55-60 miles each way. We are meeting at the Greenwater sno-park this Saturday March 2nd at 8am. Please arrive with a full tank of Fuel, and oil and have all the necessary supplies and proper equipment for a day in the mountains. This always includes a beacon, probes, shovel and a radio (that works) amongst other things. Though a large portion of this ride will be on groomed trails; we still will be doing some off-trail riding that will include snow drifts, side hilling and some technical riding thru the trees. I don't foresee doing anything that anyone with a good mountain sled cannot do, nor do I foresee doing anything too extreme, however with all the snow we have received recently, there might be some improvising needed to navigate some of the terrain. If you are up for a great ride this Saturday and want to ride with us, then please email me at gmarkovits@gmail.com, Text me, or call me at 253-297-1774 so I can get a head count.
Thank you, Glenn
