RAFTING TRIP 2019
Aug 8-11, 2019 Annual SnoJammers Rafting Trip
The Annual Float Trip and campout will be August 8-11th. Rafting will be two days, both Friday and Saturday August 9th and 10th. We will be staying at the Ellensburg KOA Please call directly 1-800-562-7616 or the local number (509) 925-9319 , ASAP to book your spot. We will be camping Thursday night thru Saturday night, leaving Sunday Morning. We will have a meet and greet Thursday night and Friday night so we can get prepared for rafting Friday and Saturday mornings. We will spend Friday and Saturday on the river. Saturday evening we will be having a BBQ, and potluck style dinner around the campfire. The club is supplying hamburgers, but we ask that everyone please bring a side dish.
(If you park at the boat launch, you need a valid WA state discover pass)
(if you park at the take out, Roza dam, then there will be a $5 parking fee)
We will be leaving the KOA at 8am with inflated boats heading to the boat launch down the road. we would like to be on the river by 10am. We may have to inflate some boats at the launch, so please bring any pumps or resources to get your boats and supplies ready to go. We will be stopping at the Umtanum recreation area for a lunch break around noon. We will take our boats out at the Roza dam recreation area approximately 20 miles down river from where we launch.
