NOTE: Jeeps have gone past the barricades that were placed at the upper gravel pit. The Jeeps drove all over the groomed roads and tore up government meadows. Therefore the forest service is going to close and lock the gate at pyramid creek snopark. You will now have to ride your sled on 3 miles of dirt because of these law breaking wheeled vehicle operators going beyond the road closure point.

*** Wed 12/25/2019 Grooming update No grooming today

*** Tue 12/24/2019 Grooming update No grooming today

*** Mon 12/23/2019 Grooming update

Today Greens pass is all groomed
from the 1913 junction with the 1900 road, all the way west of twin camps. Probably pretty good riding up there because it’s higher in elevation and often gets more snow. You can come in on the 7030 road, just east of the 12% grade from the 70 road. You can park up there where you hit the snow line and unload your sleds there. However it does get foggy and windy on parts of greens pass that can limit visibility, nevertheless it’s all groomed and you can ride up and over to the east side. 1906 to ravens roost should be groomed tomorrow, (tuesday Dec 24th)
Pyramid pass was all groomed again today and out to the horse camp. He also groomed the 70 road from the top down to Mikes rock and turned around. Pyramid creek snopark gate is open, but barricades are up at the upper gravel pit just below mikes rock. Gate to the cabin is open for snowmobiles only! But very little snow in the meadows is preventing the groomer from grooming in there until we get more snow.

*** SUN 12/22/2019 Grooming update
Groomer came out of the little naches snopark this afternoon. He groomed pyramid pass to the 70 road and opened the gate going into the cabin. He groomed out thru government meadows, but had to cut up 4 downed trees. There is not enough snow for the groomer to groom thru the meadows again until we get more snow. There are too many downed trees and not enough snow. He groomed down the793 back to pyramid pass and then groomed west on the 1900 road to where it comes back into the trees. He turned around there and groomed east on the 1900 road back to the little Naches snopark. The gate at pyramid creek snopark is currently opened for vehicles to drive up to the snowline, and the gate going into the cabin is currently open as well. There is marginal snow at best in the Greenwater area and minimul snow in the meadows. This heavy wet snow is making for a good base, but we need a few more feet of fresh snow on top to help and make riding conditions much better. There is some snow in the forecast and colder temperatures sticking around that will help . Monday 12/23/2019 groomer will be grooming out the 1913 road over Greens pass from the little Naches / 1900 road.

*** SAT 12/21/2019 Grooming update
There will be NO Grooming today at Greenwater because it is too warm and still raining. However the temperature will be dropping tonight and staying cold for the next several days, therefore there will be 2 snowcats grooming the area tomorrow (Sunday).

*** FRI 12/20/2019 Grooming update

Grooming for Greenwater was cancelled today due to rain. There most likely will not be any grooming tomorrow (Saturday) because of the warm temperatures and raining up there. Groomer operator will re-evaluate conditions later tomorrow and Sunday.

*** THUR 12/19/2019 Grooming update
1900 road groomed all the way from little Naches sno-park to the end of the western portion before it goes into the trees. Pyramid pass was groomed and the 70 road all the way down to Mikes rock. the one mile spur was groomed.

*** WED 12/18/2019 Grooming update
Greens pass 1913 was groomed from the east side out to a part of the 7030 where the groomer starting hitting rocks and dirt.
Little Naches (19) road was groomed from the 1914 down to the 1904. Pyramid Pass was groomed and out to the horse camp. 70 road was groomed from Pyramid pass down to Mikes rock.
Please note: the groomer came in from the east side where there is much more snow. He did not groom all the way to pyramid creek sno-park because of thin snow.
Please be cautious of the snowcat out on the trail system both days and night. More snow is on its way!
Additional grooming will be over the next few days.

*** Tue 12/17/2019 Grooming update

Snowmobile trail grooming officially began today out of Greenwater. The gate at Pyramid creek sno-park will be closed tonight. Pyramid pass, one mile spur, and the 19 road were all groomed today. There is not a lot of snow "yet", so off-trail riding is going to be pretty optimistic at best. Nevertheless, please watch out for the snowcat on our trails, and the plow truck on the 70 road. There will be more grooming tomorrow.
